The year at our Sugar Land office
Coaching, Masterminds and Planning at Keller Williams Southwest
Updated
Bottom line: Coaching meets every Monday and so does Jana Hayes's market update. Masterminds meet monthly, business planning comes every November and the business review every May.
Every Monday
Weekly coaching
Our weekly coaching is held every Monday, so each week opens with it. Bring what moved on your files since the last session.
Every Monday
The market update
Jana Hayes, our Team Leader and Operating Partner, gives a market update every Monday, on the same day as the weekly coaching.
Every month
Masterminds
We run two masterminds a month: one for team leaders and one for agents.
Every November
Business planning
Every November we plan the year ahead, and each agent writes a business plan for it. The Team Leader and the Assistant Team Leaders then review that plan every month.
Every May
The business review
Every May we hold a business review, six months after the November planning.

Once a year
Mega Camp
Mega Camp is Keller Williams' annual education and training conference for its agents and market center leaders. The 2026 one was held in San Antonio in August.
Who sets the direction of the office?
Agents do, in part. Twelve of them sit on our Associate Leadership Council, and the council sets the office's strategy.
Our main website describes the council as giving agents a voice in the direction of the company. The same website says the council is made up of the top 20% of agents in each office, and that it acts as a board of directors in leadership decisions.
If you are thinking of joining, you can meet a council member before you decide.

What does the Associate Leadership Council do at Keller Williams Southwest?
Twelve agents from Keller Williams Southwest sit on the Associate Leadership Council, and the council sets the office's strategy. The people deciding where the office goes are agents who work out of it, at 1650 Highway 6 in Sugar Land. When you meet the office, ask who sits on the council now and what it has decided lately.
The council works beside the office's 14 staff, who cover marketing, technology and compliance, and beside the weekly one-on-one coaching every agent gets. If you are thinking of joining, you can meet a council member before you decide.
